Full Time Paramedic

Kingman EMS is currently accepting applications for full-time paramedic. Preference will also be given to applicants willing to live within the city limits of Kingman, however there is no living requirement. 

City of Kingman employees receive competitive pay, KPERS retirement, 100% paid single/family health insurance plans, $10/month dental insurance, as well as a life insurance policy.

Kingman EMS responds to approx. 900-1050 calls per year in a rural setting of 720sq miles, which includes portions of Cheney Lake. Providers operate on a 24/48 schedule. Our providers are challenged with long-distant transports and use progressive and liberal protocols. Our providers enjoy using the most up-to-date equipment including Zoll X-series, Zoll Ventilators, Zoll Autopulse, and Stryker Power Load. Kingman EMS also operates rescue, who regularly responds to medical calls in addition to vehicle accidents.

Kingman EMS employees also enjoy paid trainings with CE hours, online training platform at no cost to the employee, and paid recertification fees. EMS staff also recieve a KEMSA membership. 

Qualified applicants must hold Kansas certification in Paramedic, AEMT, or EMT and must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
